A musical moment, sadly without sound

James Esterline is currently serving as interim church pianist at Browns Summit UMC. He studied piano performance under George Kiorpes of UNCG in the course of obtaining his bachelor’s degree in music, mathematics, and physics from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, before going on to complete doctoral study in nuclear physics at Duke University. In addition to performing regularly both as soloist and accompanist, James also teaches piano, privately in the Triad and the Triangle, and at Harmony Music School at Hinshaw United Methodist Church, a free lesson program for underprivileged schoolchildren in southwestern Greensboro.
